Sakura: Anyone leaving the village...has to pass this road.

Sasuke: Go home and get some sleep.

Sakura: Tell me why.  Tell me why you don't saying anything to me. Or to everyone else. Why won't you tell me anything?

Sasuke: Why should I have to tell you anything?  You're always too nosy.  Stop bothering me all the time.

Sakura: You know, Sasuke...you always act like you hate me so much. You remember? When we became Genin, the day the three-man teams were decided...we were alone at this very spot. You were mad at me, weren't you?

Sakura: But won't you be lonely all by yourself then? Sasuke, you told me that being alone hurts! I know that very well...so much that it hurts. I have family... and friends...but to me... If you'd leave, Sasuke...It'd be....just the same as being alone.

Sasuke [off-screen]: From now on...we'll be taking new paths..
